AT LAWA, WE ARE MORE THAN A SERVICE PROVIDER; WE ARE A COMMUNITY.
Our work is rooted in the collective experiences of Latin American and other Black and Global Majority women living in the UK.
Through our community programmes and research, we create spaces where women can connect, organise, reflect on shared struggles, and build new ways of supporting one another. These spaces are shaped by our cultures, languages, migrant journeys, and political resistance.
Our research is grounded in lived experience and serves as a powerful tool to challenge injustice and advocate for systemic change.
Based on lived experience, highlighting the barriers migrant women face, particularly in housing and VAWG services, and advocating for systemic change through survivor-led research and strategic partnerships.
